FAQs
How Do I Order?
We are a counter service restaurant, which means you have the freedom to seat yourself! Feel free to grab a menu or a seat first, whichever works best. And when you're ready to order head up to the counter and order with the cashier. We'll give you a tracker that lets us know where you've sat so everything will come out to you. We have a pretty casual atmosphere but are very serious about the food. It's the best of both worlds!
Do You Take Reservations?
We do not take reservations. We are a first come, first serve, come as you are kind of place.
Can You Accommodate A Large Group?
Usually, large groups are great! Our format allows people to trickle in and out and help themselves to what they need. Our only challenges are during extra busy times when a large group would all like to sit at the same table. As we don't take reservations it can be hard to set tables aside. Table for 10 on a Wednesday night? We got you! Table for 15 at noon during Sunday brunch? A little harder to pull off but we are always willing to do our best. Ask for a manager to help you make something happen!
Can I Reserve a Room?
Unfortunately at The Kitchen, we do not have private dining rooms, but our sister restaurant Black Walnut offers banquet rooms.
Do You Allow Dogs On Your Patio?
We have always strived to be dog friendly! Well behaved dogs are always welcome on our front patio. Our covered, side patio is usually very welcoming too. As long as our furry friends are on their best behavior and not a nuisance to other guests; we'd love to have you.

No, we do not have nutritional information available. However if you have questions or concerns about ingredients or cooking processes; please contact us and we'd be happy to help.
How Do I Order If I Have Allergy Concerns?
Our cashiers, managers, and kitchen staff take allergies very seriously. We'll work together to ensure that your dining experience with us is safe and delicious. From changing gloves, ingredients, or cooking methods; we'll work to make sure you have the best options available to you. If you would like to do more research in advance of your visit, give us a call and speak with a manager directly. We're here to help!
